A new quilting store has opened in Howell. It's called Mouse Creek Quilts & it is located on Rte 9. Can't wait to go. I am new to quilting & I'm trying to piece together a quilt. I have never taken sewing & can do just the basics, so I am rather slow in producing a quilt square. This is a quilt that was hanging in the Garden State Exhibition Center for the quilt show. It was HUGE!!. Probably about 14-16 feet high. Just seeing all these wonderful quilts motivates me to work on my simple quilt square.

Good to know. It's far for me to drive, but I know how difficult hunting down the right fabric can be.
I've only done two quilt tops and have a great fear of borders, batting and binding.
